1- #Angel_investors Or #business_angels : These are high-net worth individuals who invest their own money into very young companies in exchange for an equity stake.
Angel investors will typically invest in younger and smaller companies than a venture capital firm.
2- #Asset_class : An asset class is a category of investment which has similar financial characteristics and behaves similarly in the marketplace, for example Cash,Shares, Property and Bonds.
3- #Assets_Under_Management (AUM) : This means the total value of all the companies a venture capital or private equity firm is currently invested in.
4- #Capital : Money.
5- #Carried_interest : often reffered to as "carry", is a share of the profits that the General Partners (GPs) of private equity and venture capital funds earn as compensation.
6- #Cash_in : Injection de capitaux dans une entreprise.

The fund is usually making distributions before all capital is called.
11- #Capital_Distributions : Process by which capital is returned to investors.
12- #Cash_multiple : A measurement of the return generated by an investment.
13- #Corporate_venture_capital : A type of venture capital. Rather than a standalone – independent – fund, corporate venture capital funds will be part of a large company and will invest in early-stage businesses on their behalf.
14- #Crowdfunding : Type of investment where a business raises money from a large number of people who each contribute a relatively small amount.
15- #Commitment & Capital Calls :
The amount each LP contractually agrees to give the fund. Includes investment principle and fees.
16- #Co_Investment : Direct investment made by a limited partner in a company/asset backed by a fund. The limited partner therefore acquires two separate stakes in the
company/asset: one indirectly through the fund and one directly in the company/asset

18- #Uncalled or Unfunded
Commitment : Total commitment less contributions to date. The unfunded commitment is the remaining capital.
